Victor Osimhen continues to be linked with Chelsea as Enzo Maresca aims to strengthen his squad before the new season starts in a few weeks. Chelsea has shown interest in the Napoli striker, who has a £110 million release clause in his recent contract. Napoli expects the full amount if Osimhen is to leave this summer.

Chelsea might use Romelu Lukaku as leverage to lower the price in a potential swap deal. Reports indicate that Chelsea is now progressing their interest in Osimhen after initially hesitating. However, Chelsea faces competition from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). According to Fabrizio Romano, talks between PSG and Osimhen's camp are advancing, and the player is keen to join PSG if a deal is reached.

Earlier comments by Osimhen suggest he is open to moving to Stamford Bridge. During the Africa Cup of Nations in January, Osimhen told CBS Sports that he has already made up his mind about his career plans and is focused on finishing the season strong before deciding his next step.
